100 homes plan for former Shrewsbury Tesco site

Plans to build more than 100 homes on the site of a former Tesco store in Shrewsbury which has been empty for more than four years look likely to get the go-ahead.

Taylor Wimpey wants to build 106 properties at Arlington Way.

The development would include 14 affordable homes, a public open space, new access off Arlington Way and internal access roads.

Shropshire councillors are being recommended to approve the application when they meet on Thursday.
