A woman in Shropshire thought she was acting the good samaritan after stopping to help a pensioner start her car in Bishop's Castle — but ended up in hospital after being hit by the car as it moved away.

A woman in Shropshire thought she was acting the good samaritan after stopping to help a pensioner start her car in Bishop's Castle — but ended up in hospital after being hit by the car as it moved away.
West Mercia Police has appealed for the elderly woman driving the car to come forward following the incident outside Co-op in Church Street.
It happened at 2pm on Monday.
