Mid Wales sheep rustling soars

Hundreds of sheep have been stolen by rustlers in Mid Wales over the last few weeks, police revealed today.

A total of 310 sheep were taken from farms in the Knighton and Llandrindod Wells area in six separate raids in the past few weeks.

Dyfed-Powys Police are now stepping up patrols across Powys.
