Staff at the Harry Tuffins store in Craven Arms have been growing their moustaches all month for the prostate cancer charity event Movember.
Their efforts has resulted in about £500 being collected.
John Enefar, duty manager, said there were about eight men taking part and yesterday the ladies at the store all wore stick-on moustaches in support.
Mr Enefar said: "We started growing our moustaches at the beginning of November. It is a national event but we decided to get together and do something for it here.
"The first week or so people didn't realise what we were up to but as it has gone on customers have started to notice it more. We have had a lot of support from customers. We have raised £260 at the moment but someone has agreed to bring the total up to £500 for us.
"This year is the first time we have taken part in Movember but we will do it again next year.
"I have grown a moustache before but I cant remember it itching this much. It is a good idea and a bit of fun too."
The staff had collection tills on and accepted donations from the customers
The event was organised by Simon Noblet from the store and also advertised through Facebook.
