Beauty queen Jamie-Lee Williams has become a cosmetic surgery company's Face of 2012.

Jamie-Lee, 25, from Llanymynech, near Oswestry, has won a string of beauty pageants including her latest title, Miss Galaxy, which she won in America earlier this year.

But she admitted that her confidence had been boosted by the cosmetic surgery she had three years ago taking her chest size from a 32A to a 32D.

She said: "I have travelled the world taking part in many beauty pageants.

"I have always naturally been an extrovert, but was always self-conscious of my breasts.

"After having my procedure I felt I was able to go on and actually win my beauty pageants.

She said the surgery had given her modelling a boost. "I was fed up of having to wear 'chicken fillets' for swimwear rounds and padded bras," she said.

She was crowned the female winner of The Harley Medical Group's 'Find a Face of 2012' competition, which was launched for the first time ever on Facebook.

And Jamie will now star in the medical group's UK and Ireland advertising campaign.

She and the male winner, Trevor Ventour, 26, also received a £1,000 first prize.

The Harley Medical Group has 31 clinics across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The group estimates that it has treated more than 500,000 patients in its 28-year history and it celebrates its patients' new found confidence through a variety of marketing activities.

Louise Braham, marketing director at The Harley Medical Group, said: "The 'Find the Face of' competition is a fantastic way of finding real men and women who have discovered their inner confidence.

"Launching the competition on facebook meant there could be a wider scope of people who could apply and join in.

"As Facebook connects 29.9 million people in the UK it was a great way to ensure full visibility and inspire people to have the confidence to look and feel great."
