Two of the UK's top tribute acts will be headlining a bill full of local talent at a charity showcase in Telford.
Adele tribute Leanne Taylor will perform at all three Jump for Freedom shows at Oakengates Theatre, with Olly Murs tribute act Tristan Drew appearing at one. The shows, on March 24 and 25, kick off the Jump for Freedom tour in aid of the anti-bullying charity Kidscape.
The event has been organised by Rock You Entertainment, headed by Telford music manager Pete Wells, and features three hours of musical entertainment.
Tickets cost £7.50, and shows are at 1pm and 6pm on Saturday March 24 and 2pm on March 25, the show at which Tristan Drew will perform.
Pete said: "2012 is going to be very special for us; we are going to be starting our Jump for Freedom concert tour with lots of local artists and UK top tribute acts.
"First port of call is Telford's Oakengates Theatre @ The Place with three shows over two days, and all ticket profits going to Kidscape. However, to make this possible and make this worthwhile to Kidscape, we are looking for financial help from local businesses, however big or small."
Sponsors will receive advertising in the programme and two tickets.
Kidscape is the first national registered charity dedicated to preventing bullying and child abuse and has been working for more than 25 years to keep children safe.
Kidscape's ZAP assertiveness training sessions for severely bullied children have a success rate of more than 85 per cent.
Also on the bill are West Midlands band Plastic Empire, Recall the Remains from Telford, Dress Down Fridays from Shrewsbury, Nikita Soltys from Telford, four-piece Callebra, modern punk metal I Defy U Stars, indie-rock band Members Only and soul and Motown act Big Phat Soul.
