Boy, 15, injured in brawl

A 15-year-old was injured during a brawl outside a takeaway in Muxton.

The youngster had to have a cut to his face glued at the Princess Royal Hospital after the incident near Fieldhouse Drive between 7pm and 7.30pm on Saturday.

A second fight – linked by police to the first – then took place on a cycle path in School Road in Donnington. A 40-year-old man facial injuries. Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of wounding and released on bail.
