Jobs boost as Ironbridge hotel to expand

Ten new jobs will be created at a historic hotel in Ironbridge after £1 million expansion plans were given the go-ahead.

The Valley Hotel, in Buildwas Road, was given planning permission for 27 new bedrooms.

The restaurant will be increased to double its current 45-seat capacity. A staff room will also be built.
