A couple were tied up and attacked when an armed gang raided their home on the Shropshire border and stole three luxury cars worth £300,000, it emerged today.
A couple were tied up and attacked when an armed gang raided their home on the Shropshire border and stole three luxury cars worth £300,000, it emerged today.
The pair were alerted by a noise late on Friday outside the home in Lower Rudge near Pattingham.
The raiders then smashed their way into the house through windows as the couple rang 999, police have said.
Friends said the man was pistol whipped before both he and his partner where tied up and threatened by the gang – believed to be at least three strong .
They escaped in a silver Aston Martin DBS, a black Range Rover Vogue and a silver Mercedes SLK. The cars were abandoned by the gang over the next two hours.
