An accountancy firm which has moved into larger offices in Shrewsbury today announced expansion plans in a move expected to create more than 50 jobs over the next five years.

Jones Kinsey Chartered Accountants is now based in Claremont Bank after moving out of its former premises in Milk Street.

It coincides with new accreditation which means the firm will be able to offer training contracts to staff.

The company, which already has branches in Wellington and Telford, said it was now aiming to create at least 10 new jobs each year for the next five years.

Managing director Mark Jones said: "We are looking to grow the practice in Shrewsbury, take on more staff and train them to be high quality chartered accountants.
