Man flees after girls targeted in Wellington

A man indecently exposed himself to two young girls as they made their way to Wellington swimming baths, police said today.

The girls – aged 12 and 13 – were walking along Alexandra Road in Wellington at around 5.15pm yesterday. A man walking towards them on the other side of the road shouted over to them and indecently exposed himself.

Police searched the area but the offender had fled.

He is described as being in his 40s, white with dark stubble, 5ft 7ins to 5ft 10ins tall and wearing navy blue jogging bottoms, a navy blue hooded top with the hood up and a black leather jacket.
