A 35-year-old man from Telford has been jailed for five years for possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Police discovered £25,000 worth of drugs and about £30,000 in cash when they mounted a raid at the home of Zulfiqar Ahmed in Wellington.
Ahmed, from Urban Gardens, had previously admitted four charges of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.
He was jailed at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.
Police said they hoped the jail sentence handed down to Ahmed would act as a deterrent to others dealing drugs.
Speaking after the court case Detective Chief Inspector Jason Wells said: "We are satisfied with the sentence handed out and hope it acts as a warning to those people intent on dealing in drugs in Telford.
"It is pleasing to know that Zulfiqar Ahmed will be off our streets for some time.
"Drugs offences remain a priority for West Mercia Police and we will continue to target those individuals who are involved in this type of criminality.
"We take drug crime very seriously and act on any information received from members of the public."
Chief Inspector Wells added anyone concerned about drug dealing in Telford can contact police anonymously.
"We acknowledge that some people do not want to get involved or give their name, so Crimestoppers provides the means for anyone to pass information about crime with a guarantee of anonymity," he said.
"It is important that people call us with information, because it is ultimately their help that enables us to carry out operations and make arrests – therefore helping us to disrupt, prevent and detect crime."
Call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
