Reveller hurt at Telford nightclub

A clubber suffered serious injuries after being hit over the head with a glass bottle at a nightspot in Telford today.

The 26-year-old man was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital with a serious neck injury and severe cuts to his face after trouble broke out at Pussycats nightclub in Tan Bank, Wellington, at around 2.40am today.

Police said the man, was hit over the head with a bottle and punched. He remained in hospital this afternoon.

The offender is described as a white male, around 6ft 5ins tall, of medium build with short hair. Call police on 101.
