Thousands of gallons of water flooded a busy road near Newport after a major pipe burst.
Part of the B5062 Edgmond Road had to be closed after it became partially submerged between about 3pm and 6pm yesterday.
A pipe which feeds Chetwynd Reservoir burst, causing water to pour onto the road near Newport Showground. Some gardens and garages in Chetwynd Road, Edgmond, were also flooded.

A Severn Trent spokeswoman said the pipe valve was turned off to stop the flow of water but residents still received tap water from another source.
"We are pleased to say that we found the burst pipe and it has now been fixed," she added. "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Police stopped people from turning onto the B5062 from Newport but cars were able to drive along the road in the other direction.
