Cagefighters and businessman arrested for drugs

Fourteen people – including a businessman and two cagefighters – have been charged after drugs worth more than £100,000 were found in a series of dawn raids on homes in Shropshire.

Fourteen people – including a businessman and two cagefighters – have been charged after drugs worth more than £100,000 were found in a series of dawn raids on homes in Shropshire.

Seven men were remanded in custody by Birmingham magistrates today on charges of conspiring to supply Class A drugs.

Taxi boss Jonathan Rotchford, 30, of Lake End Drive, Brookside, Telford, and Scott Dodd, 34, face charges of conspiring to supply cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis resin.

Cagefighters Ross Myatt, 29, of Dallamoor, Hollinswood, and Lee Stevens, 27, of Bridgwood, Brookside, are both accused of conspiring to supply crack cocaine, cocaine and heroin.

Richard Maddock, 31, of Bishopdale, Brookside, and Stephen John Carlos, 52, of Station Road, Donnington, face conspiracy charges.

And David Malony, 33, of Dalford Court, Hollinswood, also faces two conspiracy charges.
