A farm in south Shropshire could produce more than one million chickens for slaughter every year if proposals to build three massive broiler sheds are given the go-ahead.
The plan to build three units at Shadwell Hall Farm, near Clun, will expand the site's capacity to 182,000 birds at any time.
The farm could produce a batch of chickens 7.6 times per annum, which equates to 1,383,200 birds every year.
The issue will be discussed by Shropshire Council's south planning committee in Bridgnorth on Tuesday.
