Strictly Come Dancing star Camilla Dallerup will be waltzing to Telford to star in the borough's Christmas pantomime, it was revealed today.
The ballroom beauty will star as the fairy godmother in this year's production of Cinderella at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place.
She shot to fame when she won the BBC dance show at her sixth attempt in 2008 with actor Tom Chambers.
Miss Dallerup left Strictly after her win in 2008 and has since been touring the country in a stage production of Calendar Girls, alongside her husband and former Hollyoaks actor Kevin Sacre.
The Danish-born dancer is also carving out a career as a television presenter, motivational speaker and fitness guru, with her own cardio dance workout DVD.
In 2009 she took on the challenge of reality television programme I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, but had to leave the jungle early because she was suffering from exhaustion and lack of food.
Cinderella, produced by Paul Holman Associates, will be her first pantomime appearance in Telford.
The classic rags to riches pantomime will run from December 7 until December 31, with the producers promising it will be "bang up to date, with a couple of dastardly divas dishing out moody meanness but with a fairy godmother on stand-by and everyone's best friend Buttons on hand".
Tickets are on sale now and cost from £7.50 to £14.50.
Last year's production of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood won rave reviews from audiences.
