Have you ever wanted to turn the tables on a newspaper editor and ask them some hard questions?

Or ever wondered what it takes to produce an evening newspaper selling more than 300,000 copies a week?

As part of Local Newspaper Week, Shropshire Star editor Keith Harrison is taking part in a live webchat tomorrow, taking your questions and explaining how a modern news-gathering organisation works.

He said today:?"I always want to hear from readers and spend a lot of time answering letters and emails about the work we do at the Shropshire Star and our series of weekly titles throughout the region.

"Having a live webchat is a first for me however, with the advantage of being able to give real-time answers and engage with the readers instantly.

Our aim is to be as open and honest with readers as possible and have an ongoing conversation to find out what they think about the paper.

"Shropshire and Mid Wales are brilliant places to live and work and I always enjoy getting feedback from readers – even on the rare occasions when it is critical."

The webchat takes place via www.shropshirestar.com from 12.30-1.30pm tomorrow.

The editor added: "I'm looking forward to answering as many questions as possible but if anyone misses out, please feel free to email me at keith.harrison@shropshirestar.co.uk or write to me at Shropshire Star, Ketley, Telford TF1 5HU."
