Plea as girl, 12, assaulted in Shrewsbury
A 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted as she walked home from school in Shrewsbury, police said today.

Detectives from West Mercia Police have launched a hunt for a young man, seen riding a bike at the time.
The assault happened at around 3.25pm on Monday as she was walking on the Lidl supermarket car park in Whitchurch Road, Harlescott.
The man followed the youngster on his bike before twice touching her inappropriately. Although not injured, the youngster was left upset and frightened.
The man was seen riding a distinctive red mountain bike with white lettering.
He rode off along Whitchurch Road in the direction of Battlefield.
