Shrewsbury man, 20, is held after sex assault

A 20-year-old man from Shrewsbury has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl.

The incident happened on a car park in Whitchurch Road, Harlescott, last month as the girl walked home from school.

She was followed by a man on a bike who twice touched her inappropriately, according to police.
