Fire crews were called to Shaw Road at 8.30pm last night.
David Foley, watch commander at Brierley Hill station, said three people were in the cars.
He said: "The crash involved two cars, a black BMW which was in collision with a blue MG Rover, the BMW had hit the MG.
"When we got there there were three people involved, one in the Rover and two ladies in the BMW.
"The lady on the passenger side was suffering from suspected spinal injuries."
Crews from Brierley Hill and Wolverhampton carried out a full roof removal of the BMW after the female passenger complained of pins and needles in her lower back. She was taken to hospital in Wolverhampton.
The two other people were given precautionary checks at the scene.
The road junction was closed while the scene was made safe and police were also in attendance.
