A young mother has told a court she had sex with two brothers from Telford who are accused of selling her as child prostitute.

The teenager, now 19, said the contact with Ahdel Ali and Mubarek Ali started more than four years ago when her life was 'a bit of a mess'.

Giving evidence at Stafford Crown Court yesterday the young woman said Ahdel Ali asked her to perform a sex act the first time she met him.

The trial heard months later there was a second meeting when she had sex with him in a car by a derelict school in early 2008 when she was 15.

She said she believed 24-year-old Ali – whom she knew as Eddie – was aware of her age at the time.

The jury heard the girl also regularly had sex when she was 16 with Mubarek Ali, whom she knew as Max.

She had exchanged mobile phone numbers with both men, who gave her cannabis and alcohol when they met.

In 2007 and 2008 the teenager said her life was 'a bit of a mess' and she was drinking, smoking cannabis, not attending school and went missing from home.

The girl, who cannot be named, is one of four alleged to be the victims of sexual abuse and child prostitution.

The defendants, both of Regent Street in Wellington, deny 26 allegations involving the sexual exploitation of the alleged victims.

Ahdel Ali denies an allegation of rape, 11 allegations of sexual activity with a child, three charges of controlling child prostitution, two of inciting child prostitution, an allegation of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and meeting a child after grooming.

Mubarek Ali has pleaded not guilty to four charges of controlling child prostitution, two of trafficking in the UK for sexual exploitation and a charge of causing child prostitution.

The trial continues.
