A young woman told a court how she was taken to have sex with workers at three restaurants in Shropshire.

The woman, now aged 19, claimed she was sold as a prostitute by Telford brothers Ahdel and Mubarek Ali three years ago.

Giving evidence behind a screen at Stafford Crown Court the alleged victim said she was taken to have sex with men up to four times a week following her 16th birthday.

The court has heard the teenager first met Ahdel Ali, who she knew as Eddie, and Mubarek Ali, who was known as Max, when she aged 15.

She alleged that Max took her to a restaurant in Oakengates where three or four workers lived upstairs.

"Max would go and talk to the men while I was in the car with the other two men.

"Max would then tell me to go inside. They gave him money for me to have sex with them," the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the jury.

She said that she got to the first floor rooms above the restaurant by using a metal staircase outside.

"There were two men the first time and I had sex with four people another time," she said.

The teenager told the jury that she had been taken to the restaurant on about six or seven occasions.

The jury heard that she was taken "quite a lot" by both Max and Eddie to another restaurant in Wellington. And the witness said she was also taken by Eddie and another man to a restaurant in Hadley where three or four workers paid to have sex with her.

The defendants, both of Regent Street, Wellington, deny a total of 26 allegations involving the sexual exploitation of the teenager and three other girls.

Ahdel Ali, 24, denies an allegation of rape, 11 allegations of sexual activity with a child, three charges of controlling child prostitution, two of inciting child prostitution, an allegation of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and meeting a child after grooming.

Mubarek Ali, 29, has pleaded not guilty to four charges of controlling child prostitution, two of trafficking in the UK for sexual exploitation and a charge of causing child prostitution.

The trial continues.
