Shropshire is likely to have seen the worst of the weather this week with the clouds clearing and less than an inch of rain expected over the weekend, Met Office experts said today.
And the Environment Agency said despite further showers the flood risk in the area remains 'very low'.
Emma Sharples, from the Met Office, said: "I think it will be a quieter day today although there will still be further showers around, although these are likely to be more spread out and not a continual downpour. Hopefully it will allow a bit of respite for the county."

The Met Office forecast is for further scattered showers today, but less severe and less widespread than yesterday. Temperatures are expected to reach 19C (66F).
Overnight there will be patchy cloud with a few light showers continuing into tomorrow. Saturday should see some sunshine but also scattered showers and the forecast is that it will remain mostly dry on Sunday.
