Hunt for missing Ellesmere man, 81

A search was under way today for an 81-year-old man who went missing from his Ellesmere home.

Michael Ashton, of Church Street, was reported missing at 8pm on Saturday after it was revealed there had been no contact with him since 7pm on Friday.

Mr Ashton is described as white, about 6ft, with a slim build and grey hair and a beard. Contact police on 101.
