The incident happened on the A525 near Whitchurch at about 9.45am yesterday and caused the road to be blocked for more than two hours.
A woman in her 40s with back injuries and a man in his 40s suffering from concussion were both taken by land ambulance to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The incident involved two cars and a van and blocked the road in both directions at the junction with the A41.
Two ambulances and an incident support officer attended the scene, along with police and fire crews from Whitchurch, Prees, and Wellington.
Maria Wilkinson, a spokeswoman for West Mercia Police, said the injuries were not thought to be serious.
"It was reported to police at about 9.45am. It involved two cars and a van," she said.
"The road was cleared and reopened at 12.15pm."
Steve Parry, a spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We attended about 9.40am near to the marina on Wrexham Road, just outside Whitchurch.
"One female in her 40s, who was trapped for a short time, was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with a back injury. She was placed on a spinal board and in a head collar as precaution. A male in his 40s with concussion was also sent to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital."
Simon Griffiths, from Whitchurch Fire Station, said: "We just made the vehicles safe. "One lady was released before we arrived by police and the ambulance service."
