Man faces court over Telford murder bid

A man was due to appear at Telford Magistrates Court today charged with attempted murder.

The 34-year-old has been charged in relation to an incident reported to have taken place in Princes End, Dawley Bank, in Telford on Thursday.

The man faces one charge of attempted murder and another of wounding, police said.

A second man questioned in connection with the incident has been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
