Fifty shades of Grey author E L James revealed that she would rather be back in her Uggs lost in the world of Christian than having a glamorous lifestyle of her own.

The down-to-earth writer told the Shropshire Star that she preferred to 'dress down' while writing the trilogy in the second part of an exclusive interview.

"I loved to be sitting in my leggings, my Uggs and my old, oversized sweatshirt, creating another Christian Grey fantasy"

In the final installment of the interview, E L James told of:

  • The music that set the mood for Fifty Shades of Grey

  • Her gospel choir past

  • Letters thanking her for reigniting people's sex lives

  • How Shropshire could feature in a future storyline

EL James, who in her 'other life' is former television producer and mother of two has seen her novels break all records.

Sales of the first in the steamy trilogy, quickly reached a million on the Kindle e-book reader, but Fifty Shades of Grey has broken print sales records too.
