Teen arrested after Whitchurch burglary

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a smash and grab raid on a Shropshire shop.

The window at the shop in High Street, Whitchurch, was smashed on Tuesday and a television stolen.

The boy was taken to Shrewsbury police station for questioning and given police bail pending further inquiries.
