Shropshire Star readers can choose how to receive their favourite newspaper from more ways than ever before.
The Shropshire Star remains Britain's fifth biggest selling regional newspaper in the printed format, but online customers can now subscribe to digital services via their computer desktop or an application for iPad and iPhone users.
The latest technology means all editions of the paper are available to web subscribers.
Readers who sign up for an online subscription get the latest edition within minutes of publication.
Donna Trevor describes her husband, Paul, as 'a bit of a technophobe' but that hasn't stopped the couple from enjoying the Star's new desktop service.
"We subscribed when the service was launched a few weeks ago," explained Mrs Trevor, 33, of Baldwin Webb Avenue, Donnington, Telford.
"I like how convenient it is and the fact that I can access it from anywhere with a computer.
"My husband likes it, too, even though he's not very technically-minded."
The page turning technology allows Mr and Mrs Trevor to view the newspaper as it appears on the printed page but with the benefits of using their computer.
Mrs Trevor has also made use of the Shropshire Star iPhone app, allowing her to catch up on the latest news from her favourite regional newspaper while she is out and about.
On the digital offerings, stories are complemented each day with video uploads, which allow readers to watch footage linked to the in-depth news and sport coverage.
The archive lets readers view recent back issues or select specific pages to jump through editions.
Users can also save pages to their device, share with friends on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, or send articles via e-mail.
The Shropshire Star desktop service costs £1.49 per week, £3.99 per month or 69p for one day access. To try out the new service go to www.shropshirestar.com/digital-subscribe
The app service is a separate package, available at £1.49 per week or £3.99 per month via the App Store. It comes with a one week free trial.
