Officers discovered more than 40 plants at various stages of growth in the raid at Riverside Drive in Tern Hill, near Market Drayton.
A 20-year-old man at the address was arrested after police carried out a drug warrant at about 7am yesterday. Police found the plants growing in the loft and back garden, together with cultivation equipment.
The man was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and taken into custody. He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police said the plants and equipment have been seized and will be destroyed following forensic examination.
