A 22-year-old man alleged to have been one of two hooded robbers who struck at a supermarket in Shrewsbury was remanded in custody by magistrates.

A 22-year-old man alleged to have been one of two hooded robbers who struck at a supermarket in Shrewsbury was remanded in custody by magistrates.

Patrick James Pugh, of Stapleton Road, Shrewsbury, is charged with robbery at the Co-op shop in Mount Pleasant Road.

CHe also faces a separate burglary allegation.
