Police have seized cannabis plants with a potential street value of £55,000 after swooping on a home in Ludlow. Officers raided a property in Wheal Common Lane.
They discovered 54 cannabis plants at various stages of growth in bedrooms at the house.
A 62-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
The raid happened at around 3pm on Wednesday – after police were given a tip-off from another agency, which was at the address for an unrelated matter.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police found more than 50 cannabis plants at an address in Ludlow.
"On arrival, police found 54 plants at various stages of growth in bedrooms at the premises and a 62-year-old man was arrested."
Further information following the discovery led to a second man, aged 37, being arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply at an address in Churchill Avenue, Leominster.
An amount of suspected cannabis bush and resin was found at the Leominster address.
Both men were being interviewed by police today.
Last month, drugs with a street value of more than £1 million were seized after police swooped on two cannabis factories in Shrewsbury and Tenbury Wells.
