Broiler plans are approved at Shropshire farm

A Shropshire farm can increase capacity to cater for more than 550,000 chickens after plans for a new broiler unit for up to 85,000 birds were approved.

Alan Simpson Farming Limited applied to Shropshire Council for planning permission to build the new poultry unit on Lower Heath Farm, Prees, near Whitchurch.
