Organisers say they are hoping to raise 'serious money' for the cause.

Confirmed acts include TV magician Laura London and young Shropshire band Bad Hair Day.

The foundation was set up in memory of 16-year-old Bronygarth girl Charlotte, who died in July 2009 from complications arising from being misdiagnosed with swine flu.

Her aunt Beth Hartey-Morrow said the charity had touched many people's hearts, and she was hoping for a good response to the fundraising ball.

She said: "Throughout the evening, through such games as Irish Bingo and Heads and Tails, we hope to raise some serious money for the foundation. We also wish to hold a raffle and are looking for 10 quality prizes; all proceeds from the evening will go to the Charlotte Hartey Foundation.

"The foundation provides local financial resources in the form of gifts to youth clubs, schools and organisations and funds structured, purposeful projects and ventures, giving youths the opportunity of reaching their full potential."

A table for 10 costs £350. To attend or donate raffle prizes call (01691) 671903.
