Mohammed Islam Choudhrey pleaded guilty to a specimen charge at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday. Reports were ordered by Judge Michael Challinor on Choudhrey who will be sentenced at a later date. He admitted paying for the sexual services of a child between January and December, 2009.

At court yesterday Miss Deborah Gould, prosecuting, said that Choudhrey's plea to the single offence was accepted.

She said it was a specimen count which represented a course of conduct which took place over a period of several months three years ago.

Prostitute

The court heard that Wellington brothers, Ahdel and Mubarek Ali, had been behind the girl's activities as a prostitute.

Evidence about Choudhrey being 'a customer' of the teenage victim emerged during evidence at the recent trial of the Ali brothers.

Ahdel and Mubarak Ali, who were convicted of a series of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation charges, are due to be sentenced next month.

Yesterday at Wolverhampton Crown Court Choudhrey, of Solway Drive, Sutton Coldfield, was allowed bail with some conditions attached, which include his place of residence, a tagged curfew and a £5,000 surety.
