The donation from Age UK North Shropshire Supporters has helped secure the future of the charity's St Mary's Street, Whitchurch, office.
The office is Age Concern's last remaining base in north Shropshire.
After Government funding cuts, the charity now has to rely on local businesses and supporters to raise the £7,000 annual running costs.
The office faced closure because of a shortage of funds, but Whitchurch-based storage and distribution company Grocontinental has donated £6,000.
The charity has also received £7,000 in match funding from the town council.
