RAF Shawbury helicopter crews back Remembrance Day
Staff from an airbase in Shropshire took centre stage at a championship football match as part of a series of activities to commemorate Remembrance Day.

A Griffin helicopter from RAF Shawbury was flown to Leicestershire to drop off the match ball for the East Midlands derby between Leicester City and Nottingham Forest.
Flight Lieutenant Jim Porter flew the helicopter from 60 Squadron at the Defence Helicopter Flying School at the base on to the pitch at the King Power Stadium in Leicester on Saturday, while Flight Lieutenant Gary Carr was given the honour of delivering the ball to the referee.
The spectacle was televised live on Sky Sports and was part of a number of events to recognise the match as a Royal British Legion fundraising match.
Captain Paul Shawcross, Commandant of the Defence Helicopter Flying School, watched from the stands and said: "Staff and personnel at the
Defence Helicopter Flying School were proud to be able take part in Remembrance events across the region."
Staff from the base also provided a fly-past at Wrockwardine Arts Academy in Telford on Friday as part of a memorial ceremony attended by pupils from the school.
Military personnel also took part in parades and events in Shrewsbury and Shawbury on Remembrance Sunday.
