Tern Hill soldier faces murder charge

A soldier from a Shropshire barracks has appeared in court charged with murder.

Michael Wilson, 22, of 1st Battalion The Royal Irish Regiment, based at Tern Hill, near Market Drayton, appeared at Armagh Courthouse yesterday.

He is yet to enter a plea and was remanded in custody until January 15.
