Abandoned Telford crash car is vandalised
A car which was abandoned at an industrial park in Telford after skidding off the road has been vandalised after its owner failed to collect it.
The white car was left between two hedges on the pavement outside Wrekin Pipeline Supplies Ltd in Hortonwood on December 21.
But after three weeks the car has still not been moved by its owner, and it has now been vandalised.
The back windows have been smashed, a door mirror has been torn off and the rear bumper has been pulled loose.
West Mercia Police spokesman Chris Ammonds said: "The car was reported abandoned at the back of a factory in Hortonwood 50 at 9.40pm on December 20.
"We have been made aware that the vehicle is still in situ and that it has been damaged. We are trying to locate the registered keeper.
"The council is now aware of the car. They contacted us as it is now causing an issue and will be removing it within the next couple of days."
