Crews from Minsterley and Shrewsbury were called to the incident and were on scene for about 90 minutes.

A spokesman from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that no-one was believed to be injured in the incident.

He added that the scene is to be re-examined today in an attempt to establish the cause of the fire.

Firefighters were also called out to two reports of chimney fires last night.

The first incident, in Shropshire Street in Market Drayton, shortly before 5pm was a false alarm.
