Oswestry to welcome Starbucks and KFC
Coffee giant Starbucks will open a new cafe in Shropshire in May, it was revealed today.
The cafe, which will create 20 jobs, will open at the Oswestry Gateway development near the town's Mile End roundabout.
Work has already started on the development, which will also include a new KFC restaurant.
The KFC will create 45 jobs and open at the same time. Bosses have already advertised for an assistant restaurant general manager and team leaders.
A spokesman for Starbucks said: "There is a station due to open on Mile End in Oswestry in early May."
A spokesman for KFC said: "We're delighted that building work has started on our new restaurant in Oswestry and we're looking forward to welcoming local residents to the restaurant when we open in May."
