McDonald's in Whitchurch has served about 10,000 customers in its first week of trading and owner, Ralph Parker, has launched another recruitment drive to meet demand
About 75 jobs were created when the restaurant and drive-thru opened for the first time on February 1 and Mr Parker is now looking for 30 extra people to become crew members and dining area staff.
The restaurant has been built at the site of the former Little Chef on Wrexham Road and opened 15 minutes earlier than its planned midnight launch on its first day because of huge crowds outside.
