Motorists cut from vehicles in Shropshire crashes
Motorists escaped major injury in two crashes in Shropshire.
A man was cut out of his vehicle and taken to hospital with minor injuries after overturning his classic car on the A529 at Cox Bank, Audlem, near Market Drayton, at about 3.20pm yesterday.
Firefighters from Market Drayton, Audlem and Wellington were able to release the driver within half an hour. No other vehicle was involved.
And a driver suffered minor injuries when his 4x4 vehicle overturned in Wentor, near Bishop's Castle, at 8.15pm yesterday.
Firefighters from Bishop's Castle, Church Stretton and Wellington used cutting equipment to rescue him from the car which had ended up on its side.
Police said only one vehicle was involved in the incident and that the man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
