Buses diverted away from Shrewsbury town centre after medical emergency
Buses were being diverted away from Shrewsbury town centre today after an ambulance crew was called to a medical emergency this afternoon.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to Shoplatch in Shrewsbury town centre at 12.25pm this afternoon to help a man in distress.
The man was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for treatment.
Arriva Midlands diverted buses away from the centre of Shrewsbury along Town Walls, while Harlescott Park and Ride services left town via Wyle Cop.
