Shropshire dance pair bow out of Britain's Got Talent
A dancing duo from near the Shropshire border have missed out on a place in the final of hit television show Britain's Got Talent.
Ballroom and Latin dancers AJ Pritchard, 18, of Burleydam, and Chloe Hewitt, 17, of No Man's Heath, both near Whitchurch, bowed out in the semi-finals of last night's show.
Millions of viewers watched the pair take on eight other acts live to win a place in the final.
Winning the show would have seen them win the life changing prize of £250,000 and a slot at this year's Royal Variety Performance.
The pair received praise from the judges following their performance, which included dancing to a medley of songs.
Speaking about their performance, which was the last act on yesterday's semi-final, Chloe said: "So many hours, weeks, days have gone into this performance. It paid off."
