Princess Anne visits Telford for charity event
The Princess Royal will be heading to Shropshire later this month in recognition of the services offered to people with mental health problems.
Princess Anne will visit the Park Inn hotel in Telford on June 28 to meet representatives of the charity YSS, Youth Support Services.
She will attend a conference organised by the charity and join a panel of speakers to investigate how best to support offenders in the community with mental health problems.
Ann Constable, YSS executive support, said the princess will be attending the conference as patron of the charity.
She said the main aims of the conference are to provide an understanding of the current situation and to identify local ways of reducing re-offending, while addressing the mental health needs of the individuals concerned.
The conference will run from 9.15am to 4pm.
