The litter of five boys and three girls were born on May 24 at Scotty's Donkeys and Animal Farm in Shifnal.

Six of the newborn piglets have black and gold markings and the remaining two are white with brown spots.

Owner Tony Scott said: "The litter are all healthy and that's very good considering there are usually about five in a litter.

"Of course there is a runt and he is small, but they are all doing fine."

The piglets will have grown to their full size when they reach 18 months old and will be parted from their mum at 10 weeks.

Scotty's Donkeys and Animal Farm is on the A442 between Bridgnorth and Telford and is open seven days a week.

Visitors can hold and feed the piglets in their enclosures and children can feed and cuddle a variety of smaller animals including rabbits and Guinea pig in the children's pet corner.

Admission to the farm is £2 for adults and £1 children and visitors are welcome from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
