Telford death case driver faces two charges
A woman appeared in court today charged with death by dangerous driving following a crash that killed a motorist and a horse.
Liga Jaskova, 29, attended Telford Magistrates Court to face two charges relating to a crash involving two vehicles and the horse last year.
Jaskova, who spoke through a Latvian translator, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving and being uninsured.
She is due at Shrewsbury Crown Court on July 8, and was given conditional bail.
Jaskova, of Turreff Avenue, Donnington, was ordered to surrender her passport to the police, reside at her home and report to a police station twice a week.
The crash happened in Stump Lane, Weston Heath, on September 18. Armands Ozolins, from Great Chatwell, was killed in the accident.
