Ex-Shrewsbury Town star Joe Hart 'engaged'
Shrewsbury-born Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has reportedly proposed to his girlfriend Kimberley Crew.
The 26-year-old is said to have popped the question while on a yacht in Cabo, Mexico, for his girlfriend's birthday, according to reports.
Hart is believed to have been in the relationship with 31-year-old Miss Crew for four years and is said to have proposed with a £25,000 engagement ring.
The England number one recently returned to the county as a VIP guest to mark 90 years of football in the county.
The former Meole Brace school pupil took his first steps towards the professional game playing for the county teams.
He played for Shrewsbury Town from 2003 to 2006 – making his debut as a 17-year-old – before being snapped up by Manchester City.
